With more than 30 years of experience in employee benefits and human resources, Nancy Scholberg brings a unique employer-side perspective to Bear Benefits. Having led benefits programs for organizations ranging from several hundred employees to more than 26,000 employees, she understands firsthand the challenges employers face in attracting and retaining talent, controlling costs, maintaining compliance, and supporting employees through every stage of their careers.


Throughout her career, Nancy has held leadership roles with respected organizations, including Trammell Crow Company, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Le Duff America, Pacific Union Financial, Southwest Transplant Alliance, and CEC Facilities. Her experience spans health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave administration, compliance, employee communications, vendor management, and strategic benefits planning. She has worked closely with executive leadership teams, brokers, carriers, and employees to develop benefits programs that align business objectives with the needs of a diverse workforce.


At Bear Benefits, Nancy partners with employers to develop benefits strategies, support renewals, assist with employee communications, resolve complex claims and service issues, and help organizations navigate compliance and workforce challenges. Her extensive employer-side experience allows her to anticipate issues before they become problems and deliver practical solutions that support both employees and business objectives.


Known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and commitment to service, Nancy is passionate about helping employers simplify the increasingly complex world of employee benefits. She takes pride in building strong relationships, providing timely support, and helping clients create benefits programs that support their people while strengthening their organizations.



Nancy holds an MBA and maintains both Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations. She is an active volunteer with the North Texas Food Bank, KERA, Susan G. Komen, and the Dallas White Rock Marathon, where she serves as Gear Check Captain. Nancy remains committed to serving both her profession and the communities that have shaped her career.
